POSTCARDS WITH PURPOSE 

PROJECT

VSO, an international development organisation, had collected a wealth of case studies focussing on critical issues such as climate change, youth empowerment and gender equality, in countries across Asia and Africa.

CHALLENGE

My task was to come up with a creative solution that would not only surprise and delight both new and existing VSO donors but also inspire them to participate in the “Sponsor a Volunteer” campaign.

SOLUTION

Drawing inspiration from the rich cultures of these countries, we selected meaningful proverbs and collaborated with a talented wildlife illustrator, Rohan Dahotre who brought them to life. Together we produced a series of stunning, vibrant postcards that were sent as gifts to donors, serving as both decorative artwork for the recipients home while also providing an inpsiring quote and some stories about the impact of VSO volunteers.
